Sunnyside Restaurant - is on the west shore of Tahoe about 1.5 south of the "Y" in Tahoe City. Although known for excellent dishes and evening dining, I prefer to relax during noon meals on the deck which overlooks an active boat dock. Medium to expensive.

Gar Woods Grill and Pier - has gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe with marvelous grilled foods. I enjoy watching the boats dock on their pier for “happy hour” while I savor one of their potent drinks. Located in Tahoe Vista, and medium to expensive.

Jakes on the Lake - located in Tahoe City overlooking the Tahoe City Marina and has excellent seafood. Patio dining during the summer months is enjoyable. Moderately priced.

Lone Eagle Grill - located on the Lake in Incline Village. A tasty menu with that “Old Tahoe” ambience of river rock and large timbers. Dishes are expensive but so is the view of the lake. You can’t go wrong.

Fiamma – a wonderful Italian restaurant located in the heart of Tahoe City. This eatery has a great bar with a nice wine selection, and excellent pizzas!

Wolfdale’s – located on the lake side of Tahoe City and features great food for any appetite. The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and the service is superb.
